SINGING
Garrett Liam States is one of America’s most respected and experienced singing and acting coaches. - Serving as the youngest baritone to solo with the St. Louis Symphony
- A special invitation from the Italian Government to perform at the 2001 Puccini Festival
- Concert work throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria
- Teaching experiences in Vienna and throughout Italy
- An extensive Sound of Music tour with Marie Osmond in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok
- A special invitation to sing at the National Symphonic Ball at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

ACTING
Garrett Liam States has a wealth and breadth of experiences coaching and performing around the world. From the US to Europe to Asia, he has helped prepare both aspiring and experienced actors for unparalleled performances across all major genres.
Garrett currently coaches acting for musical theatre, stage and opera, ages 10 and up.
His students range from aspiring young professionals to students ready for ongoing coaching for upcoming productions, auditions and performances. In addition to teaching master techniques, Garrett’s lessons include teaching students how to be directable and how to prepare themselves for future endeavors. His extensive experiences allow him to serve as one of the highest quality acting coaches in St. Louis.

OPERA

- Singing at the National Symphonic Ballat the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., for an event honoring the Italian Ambassador (he was invited by the Italian Ambassador for this event)
- Performing at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Italy, where he was invited by the Italian Cultural Department
- Performing for the Royal Family of Thailand
- Playing opposite Marie Osmond, as Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music in states across Asia
Such performances were shaped by Garrett’s strong educational background, which includes studies at the MET Studios in NYC with John Reardon and taking Master Classes with opera greats Pavarotti, Sutherland, Horne, Milnes, among others.

GUITAR LESSONS
New Guitar Classes to be offered
Guitar Class I
This is a group class designed to get kids playing on day one! As children ages 7-10 are learning how to play and read music they will also learn to work together to achieve playing each song.
Come and see what the class is like in a 30 minute Demo class Sunday at 1 pm. October 3rd.
Details
Classes will take place on Tuesday evenings from 4:30 – 530 p.m. for 8 weeks, starting October 11th and wrapping up on December 7th, 2021 with a small recital. The classes will meet at: Concerts International LLC, 1033 S Big Bend Blvd, Richmond Heights, MO 63117
What to bring
Participants will need to bring their own nylon-string classical guitar and a footstool. We
have a limited number of guitars available to use for class. For those who would like to
purchase their own instruments, we recommend any local music store.
